Excellent material. So nice to hear fluent speakers. Although I find Lakota to be challenging I think the audio conversational course will be very helpful.

Having only had ths product for a week or so, I am very impressed with the whole package. However, to get best results you really need to follow the instructions and only do a couple of lessons at a time and revise often. It's very easy to get caught up and try and take too much on. The booket matches up really well with the CDs and simply being able to hear words spoken correctly makes a big difference. This is a fun and slightly addictive way to lean Lakota. A really good package.

It's incredibly difficult to find comprehensive resources like this for native languages in North America. I highly recommend it

Easy to use, straightforward conversational course. Essential for beginners to train the ear and instill correct pronunciation. I recommend it for older youth and adult learners. I'm finally on my way to learn to speak, read & write Lakota.

Iove this. I am using it along with the other series which i previously reviewed under this same slot. I apologize. This course along with your 1 thru 4 series is helping me learn quicker and can retain more. I wanted to try and sync the discs to my phone so as i work on my farm daily, i could still listen and learn. Is this possible? But all in all, i am learning and am grateful for this opportunity to learn from the people i respect so very much. Pilamayaye.

Lakota audio and book series, 1

At first i had a little difficulty following where the speaker was in relation to his speaking. This course is better with an instructor. But i managed to figure out what pages to turn to when he was speaking and put it together. The pictures gives you a mental image and helps memory retention. I am learning and at my age, the memory isnt that great, but i am determined.

I got a set for my brother and a set for me, so we are learning together. It is a fun system, easy to understand, and with a little practice easy to learn. If you have a desire to learn Lakota this is it.
Pilamaya to LLC for making this program available to us.

    Very useful material

Posted by Jessica on Apr 7th 2017

So far I have only read a few pages and listened to a few tracks but it is very easy to understand and I, as a beginner, have no problems to follow.
I am sure it is going to be a big help!
The shipping did not take long. I ordered on March 29th and it arrived April 6th.
I only can give 4 Stars though, since both CD boxes were damaged so that all the CDs were lying in the box loose and I could not put them back in anymore.
I still decided to keep it because I'm so happy to have such a big help to learn Lakota.
